ECHO Foundation
De ECHO Foundation is een fonds waarin overheid en bedrijfsleven participeren via subsidie en sponsoring. De middelen die het fonds genereert maken het mogelijk om de volgende initiatieven op te zetten en uit te voeren.
ECHO Award
Jaarlijks reikt ECHO de ECHO Award uit aan twee zich onderscheidende studenten uit het hoger onderwijs (een hbo-student en een wo-student). Hiermee richt ECHO de schijnwerpers op studenten van allochtone herkomst die zich onderscheiden door bovenmatige studieprestaties en maatschappelijke betrokkenheid.
ECHO Foundation Beurzen
De ECHO Foundation maakt het mogelijk om jaarlijks een aantal excellente allochtone studenten een deel van hun studie of onderzoek te doen aan een gerenommeerde universiteit in het buitenland. De beurzen worden toegekend aan studenten met bovenmatige studieresultaten, die tijdens hun studie extra-curriculaire activiteiten hebben ontplooid.
ECHO Ambassadeursnetwerk
Het Ambassadeursnetwerk ECHO bestaat uit excellent allochtoon talent, geselecteerd via voordrachten van de ECHO Award en via de ECHO Foundation Beurzen. De Ambassadeurs dragen het gedachtegoed van de ECHO Foundation uit. Daarnaast organiseert de ECHO Foundation een aantal activiteiten voor haar ambassadeurs, zoals netwerkbijeenkomsten, masterclasses, deelname aan relevante debatten, denktankinitiatieven door middel van de ECHO Academy.
What is the ECHO Foundation?
The ECHO Foundation is a fund in which the government and businesses participate through grants and sponsorship. The funds generated allow the development en implementation of the following initiatives:
ECHO Award
Each year, ECHO rewards two students with the ECHO Awards. These students are acknowledged for their distinctive qualities in higher education. This way ECHO puts students with a migrant background who distinguish themselves by excessive academic performance and social involvement in the spotlight.
ECHO Foundation Scholarships
The ECHO Foundation allows a yearly number of excellent ethnic students to do a part of their studies or conduct research at a prestigious university abroad. The fellowships are awarded to students with excessive student achievement during their studies and who have developed extra-curricular activities.
ECHO Ambassador Network
The ECHO Ambassador Network consists of excellent ethnic talent, selected through nominations by the ECHO Award and the ECHO Foundation Scholarships. The Ambassadors carry out the legacy of the ECHO Foundation. The ECHO Foundation also organizes a number of activities for its ambassadors, such as networking events, master classes, participation in relevant discussions and think tank initiatives through the ECHO Academy.
